* There is not more than 5 % of slop in the sidewalks & parking, which is avoiding falling or getting tired from steep inclines.
* Benches, canopies & covered porches are provided in all the sideways for interval resting & protection from winds, rains & direct sunlight.
There are no stepped curbed in along the drop off of the main entry which is allowing members with wheel chairs or with walking issues to get an easy access into their own residences.
Anti-skid tiles and temperature adjustment devices are installed to prevent any unwanted accident. Larger toilets and showers are installed with a grab/support bars that assists with sitting down and getting up for the members who have decreased back and leg strength.
Taking into conisderation for elderly people even the Bedrooms are designed in such a way that allows sufficient space on at least one side of the bed with a wall parallel to it for maneuvering of a wheelchair or walker.
DOORWAYS & CORRIDORS:
For easy accessibility and to make you feel comfortable, the doors have been designed slightly in a different style. It offers a Larger doorways and wider corridors in all common areas thats leads to individual apartments.
Designed with extra space in front of sinks, gas and refrigerators to accommodate individuals who may have mobility deficits or may use a walker or be confined to a wheelchair, allowing them sufficient room to move and turn.
SECURITY AND EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEMS:
Whenever a resident may be in distress or needs someone to come into their apartment and help them, An emergency call device is provided in each dwelling unit to notify staff.
HARDWARE AND FAUCETS:
Door and Sink hardware is with lever handles which is opposed to the knobs, which is acknowledging deceased hand and gripping strength due to arthritis or other muscle/coordination issues in inhabitants.
